Despite all the scrutinies and mockeries thrown against her, Meghan Markle proves time and over again that she loves the people of Britain. It can be clearly seen in her moves, and this video from 2018 that once again surfaces on Twitter will remind everyone how she is ready to take great measures to greet her fans.

The former actress started making public appearances even before she got married to Prince William in May 2018. So, when she visited Belfast in March of the said year, she didn't mind the heavy rain and rushed in her heels to greet a kid waiting for her behind the barracks.

In an old clip making its rounds on Twitter, Meghan Markle could be seen running while holding her umbrella amidst the pouring rain, wearing her heels, to greet a little girl. She shook the young lady's hand and talked to her for a while. After that, she shook hands with some people in the crowd and waved at them, despite the torrential downpour.

Some royal followers who saw the video commended Meghan Markle. One said that she is Prince Harry's regal queen, while another one added that she is a gem that needed to be protected this day. One fan also thanked the Duchess of Sussex for "paving the way."

Meanwhile, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry went on a six-week vacation to the United States to celebrate the holidays with the former Suits star's family. They were last seen in public in November last year. Now, they are about to return to their royal duties.

According to Just Jared, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry already announced their return from their much-needed holiday break after they aired their struggles and hardships as working royals in a controversial ITV documentary last year. Their first public appearance would be in Canada on Tuesday, Jan. 7.

The Sussexes would meet Janice Charette, the High Commissioner in Canada to the United Kingdom, along with her entire staff. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry would thank them for their "warm Canadian hospitality and support" that the royal couple received while they stayed in the country.

The two were also set to visit a gallery in Canada to see the artworks made by the Indigenous Canadian artist Skawennati. They would also meet the U.K. and Canada representatives. In Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's return, BBC former royal correspondent Jennie Bond wished that they could stand the public scrutiny, especially after they had been away for quite a while.
