It's Kate Middleton's birthday week, and the celebrations already started over the weekend. However, despite a lot of celebrations, there are reports the Duchess of Cambridge never invited Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to celebrate with her despite giving her a gift two years ago.

In 2018, resurfacing reports revealed that the Duchess of Sussex bought the future queen consort a "very personal gift." "Meg had bought Kate a small birthday present - a very smart leather-bound 'dream diary' for her thoughts and ideas which Kate loved," a source told The Sun at the time.

Last year, according to Express, Kate Middleton had two birthday celebrations. In the first one, she invited her longtime friends, Laura Meade and Emilia Jardine Patterson, who are also Princes George and Louis' godparents, to their Norfolk home, but not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Their second celebration was only composed of their family to have a more intimate birthday party at Kensington Palace, along with her kids.

The nonappearance and non-invite of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle only fueled the alleged rift between the Cambridges and Sussexes. The Duke of Sussex even addressed the issue in their controversial ITV documentary last year, admitting a rift between him and his brother, Prince William.

By the looks of it, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be a no-show to Kate Middleton's birthday this week again as they were still in their six-week vacation in Canada. The Duchess of Cambridge already started the celebrations over the weekend, along with their closest friends at their country home at Anmer Hall in Norfolk, per People.

The celebrant, along with her friends, joined Queen Elizabeth II at St Mary Magdalene church at Sandringham for the first Sunday morning service this year. Kate Middleton, once again, walked the path, where Prince George and Princess Charlotte made this Christmas Day debut, with her friends and husband, Prince William.

Some of the attendees were Kate Middleton's parents, Michael and Carole Middleton, Prince William's longtime friend Tom van Straubenzee with fiancé Lucy Lanigan-O'Keeffe, and friends James Meade with wife Laura. David Cholmondeley and Rose Hanbury were also at the event, shutting down the cheating rumors that surprised the world last year.

Business Times, recently, reported that the Marquess and Marchioness of Cholmondeley's appearance at the event would put an end to the alleged illicit affair between Prince William and Rose Hanbury. It also proved that there's no bad blood between her and Kate Middleton.
