Consulting firm CIConsulting forecasted that China's medical equipment and manufacturing industry would generate greater revenue last 2019. It added that the industry would yield an average annual compound growth rate of 8.15 percent in the next five years. To promote a more efficient B2B trading platform for manufacturers and suppliers, Medtec China would showcase business opportunities in the coming 2020 Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center.
Initially, CIConsulting claimed that the Chinese medical equipment and manufacturing agency would generate national revenue of 327.4 billion Chinese Yuan in 2019. It added that such revenue could reach up to 447.9 billion Chinese Yuan by 2023, reported PR Newswire.
Medtec China would also occupy two halls in the coming 2020 Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center to showcase trendy exhibiting zones to meet the industry's needs. The promising forecasts for China's medical industry were said to promote more business investments that led Medtec China to cater to potential demands.
The showcase would include dental, medical 3D printing, orthopedic research, and development matter, including manufacturing and comprehensive medical services that would be available in the Chinese market by 2020. The said showcase would be launched in Hall 4 of the event.
Moreover, world-leading ultra-precision micro-nano 3D printing technology supplier BMF would also follow suit in the coming event. New companies such as Toradex (China) Ltd. and The Qt Company Ltd. would also showcase their products and services by the Comprehensive Medical Services section.
According to the general manager of Shanghai JC Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd. Wenting Li whose companies participated in Medtec China 2019 claimed that his company is very happy with the 2019 event turnout. He added that their booth has acquired 60 potential customers last year. Wenting also claimed that he looking forward to more turnouts in people and the quality of visitors in the 2020 event.
The report also claimed that mold technology, processing equipment areas, medical manufacturing automation, materials, components, and processing equipment including contract manufacturing services players have dominated the 2019 Mectech China event.
Companies such as Clariant, DSM, LeeDon, Maider, and Mikron would be returning as consistent participants of the events as well. It was also revealed that new players such as Suzhou Harmotronics Automation Co., Ltd. have confirmed their participation as well.
