As Melania Trump actively campaigning for her Be Best initiative, netizens mocked it. They also recalled the time when the First Lady called herself the "most bullied person" in the world and slammed Melania for it.

Netizens shared their thoughts about FLOTUS's remark back in 2018 after Free Melania book author Kate Bennett said she thinks the First Lady truly believes that she is the most bullied person on Earth. Bennett, exclusively, covers Melania's work and life in and out of the White House.

In an interview with The Washingtonian about her new book, Bennett was asked about FLOTUS's claim. She explained that like other Trumps, Melania also feels that they are constantly being attacked by critics.

Bennet, however, also defended the First Lady. She said Melania did not just sit back and agree on her husband's policy with regards to the separation of migrant children from their parents at the border.

"I've gone with her to see detained [migrant] kids, and she really does get down on her hands and knees and gets dirty and holds kids and plays with them," she said.

Nonetheless, Melania is still slammed for saying she is the most bullied person in the world and mocked for the irony of her anti-cyberbullying campaign. Many disagreed with her statement and called her "delusional" just like the other member of the First Family.

One said Melania made herself a subject of criticisms because she married the "biggest bully" in the world. Another added that it is highly unlikely that Melania is the most bullied person because she is always protected, well kept, and pampered.

"She thinks she's the most bullied person in the world? She lives in luxury & there are millions of people who wonder how they are going to buy food & pay their rent. Kids in cages at our borders. People who are homeless. Need I go on? Give me an effen break!" a Twitter user said.

Aside from the situation of migrants' children at the U.S. and Mexico border, Melania Trump was also, recently, received backlash from the public after she kept her silence when President Trump attacked climate activist Greta Thunberg when the latter was named People Magazine's 2019 Person of The Year. Melania was slammed for not standing up for the 16-year-old teen against her husband's bullying.

Netizens were expected that the FLOTUS will speak up for Thunberg because of her Be Best campaign. The criticisms on Melania also intensified when former First Lady Michelle Obama posted an encouraging message for Greta.
