Princess Eugenie may play a major role in the monarchy if Queen Elizabeth II lets Prince Harry and Meghan Markle step down from their royal duties. The role of Prince Andrew's daughter may change after the issues surrounding the royal family get resolved.

Also called as Mrs. Jack Brooksbank, she was seen leaving a five-star hotel in London after her grandmother hosted the crisis summit at Sandringham together with Prince Charles, Prince William, and Prince Harry. She braved the stormy weather as the she left Connaught before she entered a car and drove away, per Express.

Before Princess Eugenie was spotted out and about, Queen Elizabeth released a statement about the royal crisis that involved Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. In a brief message, she stated her grandson and his wife's wish to step down as senior members of the royal family and revealed they had "constructive discussions" during the talk.

"My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan's desire to create a new life as a young family," she said in support of the Sussexes' decision. Although they wanted them to remain as full-time working royals, they respect and understand their wish to have a more private life as a new family. Her Majesty also assured that they would remain valued members of the royal family.

However, Queen Elizabeth explained that the discussion was not yet over. But, she already ordered her courtiers to craft a resolution to end the crisis as soon as possible. "These are complex matters for my family to resolve, and there is some more work to be done, but I have asked for final decisions to be reached in the coming days," the statement read.

According to Daily Mail, Princess Eugenie is considered a major royal figure. Still, she didn't let the drama between Meghan Markle and Prince Harry and the royal family affects her. She has a problem of her own when her father, Prince Andrew, gets involved in a scandal due to his friendship with the criminal sex offender Jeffrey Epstein last year.

Anyhow, her fate is about to change if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's plans push through. Someone from the royal family has to take the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's workload, and she, along with her sister Princess Beatrice, may do it.

Some royal commentators even named the two as the members of the royal family that could step up and carry the engagements Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle would leave after their exit. How England Made the English author Harry Mount also revealed that Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice might take some of Prince Andrew's workload after his resignation in November.
