Ariana Grande may be a global pop superstar but her love for Kpop is also not a secret among her fans. From BLACKPINK to BTS, the Thank You, Next hitmaker wastes no opportunity to interact with these Asian stars whenever the opportunity presents itself.
In May 2019, it can be recalled that Ariana shared a snap where she posed with BTS golden maknae Jungkook after her concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Fans celebrated the presence of the two global powerhouse stars in the single photo and toasted both singers for the brief hangout session.
However, it seemed that not all fans were convinced that Jungkook and Ariana did spend time together after her concert. It seemed that there were still some fans who were questioning the authenticity of the photo almost a year after it was posted by the 7 Rings belter.
Known for frequently interacting with her fans on social media, Ariana addressed a question on Twitter when a user asked her to clarify whether the photo was edited or not. The Ariana fan said that some people thought it was manipulated.
"It's not. Ask @AlfredoFlores! But wow what a moment. WHYYY would I post an edit thanking him for coming to my show," Ariana replied to the post, genuinely surprised that anyone would accuse her of uploading a manipulated photo.
Apart from her photo with Jungkook, Ariana also showed her love for BLACKPINK when she posted about meeting the members for the first time during their first Coachella stint last year.
She even sweetly sent BLACKPINK Rose a gift when her signature scent, Cloud, came out. Rose posted a shoutout to the singer for her thoughtful gift.
Ariana also said that she would be psyched to collaborate with BLACKPINK should the opportunity present itself.
When Ariana's producer Tommy Brown posted a snap with members of BLACKPINK in Seoul after working with them on a new single, the American superstar asked to be photoshopped into the picture so that she could be included. Jennie and the rest of the members replied to the thread and said that they missed her a lot too.
BTS has announced that their comeback album Map of the Soul: 7 will come out on February 21, while BLACKPINK is expected to release a comeback in the first quarter.
Ariana Grande was recently featured in six tracks of the Charlie's Angels reboot where she got to collab with Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, Normanj, Lana del Rey, Victoria Monet, and the legendary Chaka Khan.
