Meghan Markle is used to all the glitz and glam even before she became a part of the royal family. The Duchess of Sussex was an actress before marrying Prince Harry, so she has been exposed to celebrity life.

However, being a Hollywood celebrity and a member of the royal family is entirely different. While being spotted in a loose T-shirt and yoga pants is the norm in an actress’ life, the royals have to look put-together every single time.

Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced that they would resign as senior members of the royal family, the Duchess of Sussex seemingly returned to what she was used to. On Tuesday, she was seen out and about wearing a low-key wardrobe on her way to visit a women's shelter in Canada's most impoverished neighborhood.

Meghan Markle was spotted wearing a Barbour jacket costing $399, Le Chameau boots retailing at $493.36, and Emily Mortimer Jewellery earrings worth £595 ($777.64) as she headed to Victoria Harbour Airport before boarding a seaplane for the mainland.

While these amounts are still pretty high, they have nothing on her outfits during royal events. The Ralph and Russo dress that she wore during her and Prince Harry’s engagement photo cost a whopping £56,000 ($73,189.65).

Downtown Eastside Women's Center Facebook page posted a photo pf Meghan Markle wearing something very familiar. The Duchess of Sussex sported a beige sweater by luxury brand The Row, and eagle-eyed fans believe that it was the same one she wore while playing Rachel Zane in TV show Suits.

Last week, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked the world when they announced that they would be stepping down as senior royals. The royal couple also revealed that they have plans to live part-time in Canada and the UK.

After their announcement, Queen Elizabeth summoned senior royals for a face-to-face talk to Sandringham on Monday so that they could discuss Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s withdrawal and the couple's future roles. The Buckingham Palace then stated that Her Majesty described the talk as “very constructive discussions.” It also revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would go through a “period transition.”

“Today, my family had very constructive discussions on the future of my grandson and his family,” the statement read. “My family and I are entirely supportive of Harry and Meghan's desire to create a new life as a young family. Although we would have preferred them to remain full-time working Members of the Royal Family, we respect and understand their wish to live a more independent life as a family while remaining a valued part of my family.”
