Prince Harry said that he would likely stick with one charity that he'll be working for "until the day he dies." Amid his plans to step down as a senior member of the royal family, along with his wife Meghan Markle, the Duke of Sussex said that he would keep his role with Sentebale.

According to Sentebale chairman Johnny Hornby, it did not cross their minds that Prince Harry will stop supporting them following the Sussex royals' shocking announcement of their semi-retirement from royal life. As founder, Prince Harry promised that he would continue his work with this organization.

True enough, Prince Harry met with Hornby this week to re-affirm his commitment. Hornby told ITV that Prince Harry was his usual jolly self during the meeting. He was also very focused and very centered on the issues that the organization needed to address.

Earlier, Prince Harry was also at the Rugby League World Cup. His wife, on the other hand, left for Canada in the second week of January. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex said that they plan on balancing their life between the U.K. and North America. Thus they had to let go of some of their royal roles. They are doing this to raise their son, Archie Harrison, in a more private and regular environment, away from the prying eyes of the media.

Meanwhile, The Guardian reported that Prince Harry and Meghan's home, Frogmore Cottage, is apparently in the process of being shut down. Since the Sussexes will no longer be living in this property for most of the year, some of the live-in-staff have been re-assigned. Sources, however, said that this not an indication of anything different. Royal aides are usually shuffled within the estate. The source reaffirmed that no one was fired from their job.

Due to these changes, Queen Elizabeth called on Prince Harry and his father, Prince Charles, as well as older brother Prince William, for a crisis talk at her country home in Sandringham last Monday. After the two-hour meeting, the Queen released a statement saying she supports Prince Harry and Meghan's new life away from London.

The Queen also wants the royal houses and the governments of the U.K. and Canada to make arrangements for Prince Harry and Meghan's transition. The palace is expected to make another announcement of what the Sussex royals' future would be in the royal family.
