The 2020 edition of the WWE Royal Rumble happens on Jan. 26 at the Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas with several big names participating. Like before, the winner gets to pick the WWE title to fight for at Wrestlemania.

There are several favorites to win it all. That includes Brock Lesnar who will be the first combatant in the 30-man battle royale. However, bookies have given their odds-on-favorite to win it all. A look at Odds Checker shows Roman Reigns as the clear favorite to win it all and march to Wrestlemania 36 in April.

Seeing Reigns win it all makes sense. He previously mentioned that he never really lost the WWE Universal title. The Big Dog mentioned this during the Jan. 10 edition of WWE SmackDown, and apparently most took note of it. Despite the odds, the Wrestling Observer says that there is no clear winner yet.

Making it doubly hard is the fact that Reigns will be in another match at the WWE Royal Rumble. He will meet Baron Corbin in a Falls Count Anywhere match, a clash that could take its toll on the former world champion. With Lesnar and other behemoths in the 30-man battle royal, it will be interesting how Reigns will walk off triumphantly and get his chance to reclaim the WWE Universal title in April.

Assuming he does pull off the inevitable, expect The Fiend (Bray Wyatt) to do something after the event. The Sportster alleges that Reigns will likely face Wyatt at Wrestlemania 36 - meaning fans can expect a lot of psyche wars happening in the following months. That is unless The Fiend's feud with the returning Kane or Daniel Bryan carries on.

As for Lesnar, not all are convinced he can last the Royal Rumble. The reigning WWE SmackDown heavyweight champion raised plenty of questions entering the battle royal at no. 1 although there could be something up. And according to Wrestling.com, The Beast Incarnate's next opponent will likely be the same guy who eliminates him. However, it remains to be seen who that guy will be.

But if there is one guy who makes sense, it would be Cain Velasquez. Mixed martial arts fans know the history between the two and the WWE will want to capitalize on that storyline. Velasquez could be champion for a while, something that has already happened in the past.

If not, Braun Strowman vs. Lesnar could make sense too. The last time both went at it was during the WWE Crown Jewels 2018. The Beast Incarnate won that one to reclaim the WWE Universal title which was then forcibly vacated by Reigns.
