There is little doubt that there are several unsolved mysteries about BTS that fans are still hoping to debunk. For instance, Armys have long debated about Jungkook's unheard response to the question, "What's tasty in Busan?" during a fan meet. Another mystery that has left people baffled was the boy group's arrival at Incheon Airport where Jin, Suga, and J-Hope were wearing sunflower headdresses. Luckily, this is one strange event that Bangtan Sonyeondan has finally revealed why the three members had to wear the adorable costume.
Back in June 2019, Armys were delighted when BTS finally returned to Korea after several weeks overseas finishing the European leg of their Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour. However, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, and Jung Hoseok had a truly adorable surprise for their fans as well. Although RM, Jim, V, and Jungkook arrived at Incheon Airport without too much fanfare, the other three members showed up with an interesting fashion statement. Amazingly, Jin, Suga, and J-Hope were all wearing sunflower headpieces when they posed for photos in front of their fans.
Needless to say, the vibrant sunflowers had people talking. While others believed that Jin had won a bet against Suga and J-Hope and convinced them to wear the headdresses, some Armys speculated that the three lost a challenge against their fellow BTS members. Interestingly, the fans were somehow right with the latter theory.
The most recent episode of Run BTS featured Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, and Jeon Jungkook playing a board game that featured several interesting challenges. The idols were set into two different teams and played games like 007 Bang and the Capital Game. In the end, Suga finally ended the game, much to the delight of his fellow BTS members as they had been playing for three hours.
In the end, the members asked the staff to change J-Hope's previous punishment of dancing on London Bridge since it was raining in the city at the time. Interestingly, the producers announced that the previous losers Jin and Suga would also have to take the same new punishment as Jung Hoseok. Since Kim Seokjin was initially supposed to wear a trendy outfit to the airport after losing in an episode of BTS Gayo, both Min Yoongi and J-Hope would have to suffer the same consequence. This was when the sunflower headdresses were brought out.
It's great to finally debunk a mystery that has kept Armys wondering for almost a year. Hopefully, the other BTS mysteries will also be solved in the near future.
