It's no secret that Meghan Markle didn't have good roles on television until she became part of Suits on USA Network. Her father Thomas Markle said in a recent documentary interview that the Duchess of Sussex was especially embarrassed by her job as a briefcase girl in Deal or No Deal.
According to Thomas, Meghan was not proud of her brief stint in this American game show. A former co-worker of the duchess said that they used to audition in their swimsuits to be able to land jobs on television.
Tameka Jacobs shared that she and Meghan made use of "tit-tapes" to hold their breasts in place while wearing sexy outfits for Deal or No Deal. The friend also said that they had it tough because Meghan wanted to do serious acting yet she had to wear mini-dresses, five-inch heels, as well as tape her breasts together for a job on TV.
Meghan and Jacobs, as well as the rest of the briefcase girls were under a lot of pressure not to gain weight. A producer apparently inspected their appearance every morning before the show.
Thomas, who was a lighting director, shared some of Meghan's videos as a briefcase girl in the Channel 5 documentary. One of these videos apparently had Meghan saying that she and her dad were not in the best of terms. At that time, it was understood that Meghan had been living with her mother, Doria. She lived with her father in Los Angeles until she turned 18 years old and started working in the same Hollywood business.
Meanwhile, Thomas said that he's very disappointed in Meghan for quitting the royal family with Prince Harry. The dad said that being a princess was every girl's dream and she tossed that away "for money."
The father also lectured the daughter and son-in-law he hasn't spoken to since mid-2018. He said that they had an obligation as royals and they were foolish not to fulfill this obligation.
Meghan's father said that he agreed to do the documentary so that the world will know that he's not a trashy father. He also wants his Prince Harry and Meghan to watch the documentary to realize that they have not been fair.
Since their last conversation prior to the wedding, Meghan cut off her relationship with Thomas. Her father has not yet even seen her grandson, Archie Harrison, and he fears he and Meghan will not even if he's on his deathbed.
Thomas said that Meghan will probably see him only of he's lowered to the ground. At this point, the father said that his daughter refuses to talk or see him at all.
