Most people say that Archie Harrison looks a lot like his dad Prince Harry. However, a batch of photos of his mother, Meghan Markle, reveals just how much Archie also takes after the Duchess of Sussex.
Meghan's dad, Thomas Markle, shared her old photos of the duchess in a 90-minute documentary, which aired on Channel 5 recently. Some of Meghan's baby photos show that her nose and Archie's nose are particularly similar, according to Daily Express.
Thomas revealed, in the documentary, that he was delighted to learn that his then-wife Doria Ragland was pregnant with Meghan. She was born via a cesarean birth but Thomas said that she could not have been happier when Meghan arrived.
The father recalled that he was knocked out by her baby daughter's presence. He said that he was in love with his child and he knew that she was going to be really special.
The father and daughter used to be close because Meghan lived with Thomas when her parents divorced until she was 18 years old. Thomas said that Meghan used to give him gifts, including $5,000 for Christmas when she became a successful TV actress.
Thomas also revealed that Meghan promised him she will take care of his father in his senior years. Now 75, Thomas thinks that their relationship will not be patched up and he fears that the only time his daughter will see him is if he's being lowered on the ground in a casket.
The Duchess of Sussex and her father had a falling out in mid-2018 because of the antics he pulled prior to her wedding to Prince Harry. Thomas collaborated with paparazzi to have him follow around despite explicit instructions from the Duke of Sussex.
Meanwhile, Thomas has not yet seen his grandson Archie in person because of his estrangement with Meghan. Thomas said he hopes the Sussexes will be reminded of him when they look at Archie because he also slightly resembles his grandson.
The former TV lighting director said he still wishes to meet the baby one day. The Sussex family is, currently, based in Canada after Prince Harry and Meghan decided to step back as senior royals.
Thomas is expected to testify against his daughter in a legal case Prince Harry and Meghan filed against the Daily Mail. The publication released parts of Meghan's private letter to her father when he was banned from attending her royal wedding to Prince Harry.
