Meghan Markle's estranged brother Thomas Markle, Jr. is planning to go to Canada and speak to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in person. The older brother said that he'd like for Prince Harry and Meghan to heal their rift with their father, Thomas Markle, Sr.

According to Daily Express, Thomas Jr will likely fly from Oregon to reach Vancouver Island where Prince Harry and Meghan have rented out their temporary home. Thomas has high hopes that he would be able to talk to his half-sisterand ask her to call their father.

Thomas said that this family estrangement is emotionally killing their father. Thus, he thinks they must take action to have Meghan talk to them again.

The senior Thomas recently featured in a documentary special to air his side of the story of the rift, which aired on Channel 5 in London. Sources, however, said that the show didn't ruffle Meghan at all even as her father shared his real feelings over his daughter, including the regrets he had over their rift.

The report went on to say that Samantha Markle, Meghan's older half-sister, tried to meet with the Duchess of Sussex in Kensington Palace in 2018. However, palace security blocked her from the premises but they are now confident that they will be able to approach Meghan in Canada.

However, Thomas Jr is still trying to work out deals with some TV outlets to fund his trip to see his sister in Canada. A friend of the family said that since has no job to support the flight and the accommodations, Thomas Jr and Samantha are looking to see if a network could be interested in helping them.

Meanwhile, sources revealed via Daily Mail that Meghan was supposed to be with Prince Harry at the Sentebale charity event in London last week. However, the Duchess of Sussex allegedly decided to pull out at the 11th hour, leaving his husband alone to deliver his farewell speech.

Sources said that the event organizers were expecting both Prince Harry and Meghan to be present at the charity dinner. Attendees were also assuming that they will see both the Duke and Duchess together, with Meghan also anticipated to give a speech.

The Sentebale charity was allegedly billed as a "Meghan and Harry event." However, following their split from the royal family, the organizers were informed that the duchess was not going to be joining her husband.
