Melania Trump always dresses to perfection. However, once in a while, a wardrobe malfunction could still happen. FLOTUS she nearly avoided a wardrobe disaster recently while her husband, President Donald Trump, is busy greeting the cheering fans at the airport tarmac.
The First Couple along with their son, Barron Trump, traveled to Palm Beach, Florida recently where the president hosted a fundraiser at his Mar-a-Lago club. The First Lady came out of Air Force One looking gorgeous in her Carolina Herrera dress.
The dress featured cap sleeves and a simple flower embroidery design that cascaded from the upper right shoulder down the left side of the shirt. Melania paired the dress with white pumps.
However, as the family descended the Air Force One staircase, a strong wind suddenly began blowing and the skirt of Melania's outfit rose in the air. Fortunately, FLOTUS's quick reaction prevented as a serious wardrobe disaster.
Melania Trump grabbed a portion of the shirt in her left hand and held it down. She continued to descent while holding her dress with one hand and into the waiting vehicle.
While that is happening, Donald Trump was seen clapping, fist-pumping, and waving to the screaming fans. As he reached the foot of the stair, he walked in front of Melania and greeted the cheering crowd that gathered to meet them. Barron, on the other hand, remained following his parents.
According to HollywoodLife, it looked like Melania changed her wardrobe while onboard Air Force One. When the trio left the White House, FLOTUS was seen wearing a turtleneck underneath the blush camel hair coat by Italian designer Max Mara, and burgundy leather boots. She was also carrying a Hermes burgundy Birkin.
POTUS and Barron don't seem to change their outfit. President Trump was in a dark blue suit and a navy blue tie while 13-year-old Barron was sporting an all-black outfit and olive green bomber jacket.
Meanwhile, some netizens can't help but share their reaction to the video of Melania avoiding a wardrobe malfunction. One slammed Trump for ignoring his wife's struggle on holding down her shirt.
"As Melania struggles with her dress and those ridiculously high heels to get down the stairs, Trump runs ahead of her to raise the victory fist to his adoring fans who came to greet him. What a schmuck," one netizen commented.
