Fans are becoming worried after reports surfaced that TWICE Mina is also being stalked by a foreign sasaeng in Japan. According to reports, the alleged stalker has been displaying even more aggressive behavior than Nayeon's stalker.
Based on a report by Koreaboo, ONCE discovered a fan account with the handle 4chan who shared that he found Mina's house in Japan and actively tried to meet her. The fan claimed that he went to the house and rang the doorbell and was able to speak to Mina through the intercom before the TWICE member cut off the conversation. The fan also reportedly left a love letter at her home address.
The foreigner was reportedly picked up by police and was detained for four hours for questioning. Fans confirmed that he was a foreigner after it was then revealed that police had to get a Spanish translator for the interrogation.
After the questioning, the foreigner was asked to sign an agreement that he will not try to contact her again.
In recent interactions on the forums, the foreigner reportedly insisted that he did not do anything wrong. Fans are worried that with the confirmation of Mina's address, the sasaeng could make the information public like what Nayeon's stalker did with TWICE Chaeyoung's mobile number.
TWICE fans expressed worry that this incident would aggravate Mina's mental health issues. For several months now, Mina has been on indefinite hiatus for her anxiety. With the latest episode, ONCEs fear that Mina's recovery will suffer from a setback and her return to group activities will be delayed.
For several months, JYP Entertainment has been actively dealing with TWICE Nayeon's stalker after the foreign fan arrived in Korea and continued to announce his plans to get close to Nayeon despite threats of legal action.
This has caused the agency to request police protection for TWICE members. However, one of the most recent incidents indicated that the foreign fan identified as Josh was able to board a plane with TWICE members. He caused a commotion on board as he tried to get close to the female idol, All Kpop reported.
In his most recent stunt, he reportedly posted Chaeyoung's personal mobile number on Twitter which caused the female idol to receive a flood of messages and calls from strangers.
She responded with a strongly worded statement against Nayeon's stalker and called his behavior shameless after his actions once again caused chaos not only for TWICE members but for other artists as well.
