Zara and Mike Tindall tied the knot in 2010 after dating for five years. Although the couple was said to be "keen" on having their own family even before their marriage, reports revealed that the Tindalls waited for a "window period."
Three years after tying the knot, the couple, along with the Palace, officially announced that they are expecting. Mia, the first granddaughter of the Princess Royal was born in 2014.
Today, the six-year-old royal is enjoying a private life, which has been largely favored by her parents and grandparents. While details of the family's life have been scarce, recent reports revealed that Zara and Mike Tindall opened up about their parenting styles.
According to Hello! magazine, the former rugby union player shared a few insights on how he, along with Princess Anne's daughter, raises their kids, Mia and Lena. He stated that he has been raising them, especially their eldest child, to become "more competitive."
Mike further shared that his daughter has been showing "keen interest" on sports, which they certainly love and support. It is worth noting that the Tindalls themselves are sports-lovers. With Mike Tindall's previous career in rugby and Zara Tindall's equestrian career, it is not surprising why Mia has been already showing interest over sports.
It is not revealed, though, as to what sports their daughter is looking after. Even so, Mike and Zara are seemingly preparing the two young royals in terms of their mindset in the field of professional sports.
On another note, many are convinced that Mia Tindall might be sharing the same interest for horses as her mother. In previous interviews, Zara Tindall revealed that the two young royals have both shown "fondness over horse riding." This is why she and her husband bought them a new pony, which they named "Magic."
These "rare insights" on the Tindalls' lives came after the conclusion of the Megxit deal. According to Express UK, Mike Tindall was later asked about the controversial royal exit that shocked the whole world, especially the British Royal Family.
However, Princess Anne's son-in-law seemingly shrugged off the question and simply responded that he does not want to talk about it. The interviewer, who was revealed to be one of Prince Harry's good friends, gladly accepted the response and stated that he hopes that everyone in the family is doing well.
With this at hand, this only goes to show that Zara and Mike Tindall only want to focus on their private lives together with the two kids. It seemed like, as much as possible, they want to disregard any questions relating to the royal family's businesses and issues in recent times.
