The Poco X2 is set to be introduced in a few days, and the latest leaks about the handset appear to suggest it is a reimagined device from Xiaomi's Redmi line, that would be the Redmi K30. Inside and out, the sequel to the Pocophone F1 will largely mirror the China-made smartphone.

The two phones share the same model number, according to the latest batch of leaks detailing the Poco X2's design, build, specs, and pricing. Specifically, the Poco X2 will mimic the K30's Chinese version - mirroring the latter's general features and functions.

For instance, the Poco X2 will boast of a quad-camera setup, headlined by a 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor, according to Android Authority, adding the front-facing camera of the device will have a dual sensor. That means the display cutout is pill-shaped or exactly the punch-hole kind already seen with Redmi K30.

The base model of the Poco X2 will unbox with 64GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM, which, if the same leaked details are to be believed, will sell at around $270. The pricing mentioned is in support of the Poco brand, which for many Android users, means affordable but with flagship-level specifications.

Per the same report, it is expected that the Poco X2 will debut in other configurations, possibly a 128GB version, but details on this remain unavailable as of writing.

On top of these suggested details, Poco has already confirmed that the upcoming handset will have a display refresh rate of 120Hz, which will be known as RealityFlow. The size of this buttery smooth-rendering screen will stretch 6.67-inch diagonally, again indicated in the same leaked details.

The size of the Poco X2 battery is still unknown, but according to GSM Arena, the handset will be capable of fast-charging, a feature that was advertised by Indian gadget retailer Flipkart.

This quick-charging capability is rated at 27W, which should indicate that the Poco X2 will juice up significantly in a matter of minutes and will likely fill up in just over an hour. However, the exact details on these have yet to be affirmed by the device manufacturer.

But to have a general idea of how the Poco X2 will look and behave following its unpacking, would-be buyers can simply check out the Redmi K30. If indeed Poco will build the X2 around the K30, then most of what was seen with the latter will be reflected by the former except for a few specific variations.

The Poco X2 is set to be introduced in India on February 4, but it remains to be announced if the commercial will be on the same day or a few days after. Also, it is still unknown when the device will hit other markets or if Poco intends to make the device available outside of India.
