Queen Elizabeth II recently had a health crisis as per claims. It was revealed that she cancelled her first engagement for the year due to a "slight cold."

While the health issue was not deemed serious, several royal fans and supporters were deeply concerned. Even so, it has been recently shared that the monarch is now ready to get back to work.

According to Express UK, the monarch is set to attend a visitation on Monday to the RAF Marham in her capacity as the Honorary Air Commodore of the station. This visitation will serve as her final engagement in Norfolk before she returns to London.

Queen Elizabeth II's schedule has been reportedly all now set. Following her health crisis last week, it was deemed that she will be very busy in the coming weeks.

Although royal fans and followers have been happy to learn that she is now okay, recent reports seemingly deemed the situation as a sad one for both the Queen and Prince Philip. As it appeared, she will now leave him behind to continue her duties and responsibilities in Buckingham Palace.

The publication described the Duke of Edinburgh as the Queen's "most trusted advisor." Aside from being a supportive life partner to her, several claims attested that he has been the one who always helps the monarch in making decisions for the betterment of the monarchy.

This is why royal experts also believe that Queen Elizabeth II has been missing him and his counsel for the last few years. Prince Philip officially retired in 2017 and moved into the Sandringham Estate.

As per Richard Fitzwilliams, the Duke of Edinburgh is the Queen's "strength and stay." Had he not retired, he believes that the controversies surrounding Prince Andrew's debacle in November would "have never happened."

As for the recent Megxit controversy, the royal expert shared that Prince Philip may have played a part in deciding the final agreements, especially in the aspect of not allowing the Sussex couple to use their HRH titles or to do their royal duties part-time. This is very likely given the "crisis talk" of the royal exit was held in Sandringham.

On another note, Express UK also recently shared a "rare sighting" of the Duke of Edinburgh. Based on the photos, he was driven by Princess Anne to visit Queen Elizabeth II last week amid the monarch's resting period. It was then claimed that he has been enjoying his retirement in the estate.
