It seems like Nicole Kidman would like her friend, Charlize Theron, to end up with a Nashville man like her. Rumors have it that Kidman is setting up her Bombshell co-star to date with some men she knew from Nashville.
According to Star, the Big Little Lies actress has been encouraging Charlize to stop looking for new love in Los Angeles. Instead, Nicole urged her to focus on finding a Southern man, hoping that her pal would find a down-to-earth and perfect partner in Nashville. The outlet added Kidman has lined up some of her male friends from Tennessee who would like to meet the Mad Max: Fury Road actress.
"She has male friends who are 180 degrees from what you would find in L.A. which is a huge draw for Charlize," the source claimed.
It could be true that Kidman favored men from Nashville, where she and her husband, Keith Urban, currently, lives. However, Gossip Cop noted that it is unlikely that Theron would need help in finding new love. The publication added that a source close to Theron also confirmed that the rumor was false.
Gossip Cop also recalled that this is not the first time Star claimed Kidman is playing matchmaker to Theron. It looked like its latest claim about the two actresses was made as a follow up to its already debunked story last year. In October 2019, the tabloid reported that Charlize asked the Aquaman star to set her up with one of Keith Urban's friends.
There was also a claim last year that Theron remained single after her relationship with actor Sean Penn ended in 2015 because of her fierce personality. OK! claimed men are afraid to approach the actress because of her intimidating confidence. The tabloid added Charlize needs to learn to "lighten up and laugh a little" so men would feel threaten by her.
Though Theron admitted to Entertainment Tonight last year that she is "shockingly available," it doesn't seem that she is looking for a new love. The Atomic Blonde actress has been linked to some celebrities in the past year. The list includes Brad Pitt and Trevor Noah, but Charlize have already denied dating any of the two.
The 44-year-old actress also previously told Glamour that she has no interest in getting married and she is happy raising her kids on her own. Theron is a mother to two kids: Jackson, 7, and August, 4. Both were adopted.
