Jennifer Lopez and Shakira have proven that two Latina women could take the center stage at the same time without overpowering each other. The singers have shown off that they are not feuding at all after they both gave a spectacular performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

As soon as it was announced that JLo and Shakira will headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show, speculations started to swirl around it that it would be a showdown between the two Latina singers. In Touch claimed the two have been bickering about the direction of the show for weeks and neither of them is willing to back down.

In reality, there is no hint of any sort that there is a rivalry going on between the two. Both even appeared at a press conference in Miami last week.

Lopez and the "Hips Don't Lie" singer spoke about how special it is that two Latina women will be joining forces for the halftime show. The Hustlers actress also tweeted a couple of selfies of her and Shakira backstage after the press conference. Shakira retweeted the same post.

It clearly showed that the two are getting along well. According to Gossip Cop, JLo's camp also denied the rumor that there is an ongoing tension between the two singers. Prior to the show, Lopez also shared a touching photo of her hugging Shakira backstage.

"So excited to share the stage with you tonight Shakira! Let's show the world what two little Latin girls can do," she captioned the image along with hashtags #LetsGetLoud#GirlPower #SuperBowlLIV #SBLIV.

Though many believe that Lopez and Shakira deserve their separate halftime show, the two nonetheless did an outstanding performance together at Super Bowl LIV. The "Waka Waka" singer kicked off the performance with a medley of her songs and her impressive guitar playing on, "Empire."

Then came JLo with "Jenny from the Block" and showed off her vocal and dancing prowess in a perfectly choreographed "Get Right." She also joined Shakira in a salsa number and was joined by her 11-year-old daughter, Emme, on the centerfield for a duet of "Let's Get Loud" and "Born in the USA" while clad in a cape with both the Puerto Rican and American flags.

The two also got glowing reviews from their fellow performers such as Lady Gaga and Pink. Both singers said they enjoyed the show so much and praised JLo and Shakira for it.
