SEVENTEEN fans usually see Joshua as one of the nicest members of the boy group. After all, the lead vocalist always acts as a responsible older brother to his dongsaengs. However, it looks like Joshua Hong has also tapped on his mischievous side in the latest episode of Going Seventeen. Interestingly, Hong Jisoo tried to use a trick that would have made fellow member Jeonghan proud.

In the latest episode of Going Seventeen, the members of the boy group continued with the silent eating game from the previous episode. Although others were lucky enough to get several bites from their meal of tteokguk (rice cake soup), galbi jjim (braised ribs), and kimchi, there were two members who weren't even able to pick up their chopsticks. Hoshi and Woozi ended up having to give up on the challenge when they went over the allowed decibel level. Unfortunately, this wasn't the last challenge for SEVENTEEN in the episode.

The final challenge involves some dessert for the idols in the form of sikhye (sweet rice drink). Each SEVENTEEN member was allowed to choose a glass of the beverage from the table. However, not all of the glasses contained sikhye. Some were filled with vinegar or salt water.

Not surprisingly, Joshua immediately offered to go first after learning that they will be drinking sikhye. Unfortunately, he did not wait until the instructions were read out. Nevertheless, the vocalist still agreed to take the first glass as he was truly excited to get a sweet drink.

From the start, it was obvious that Joshua was trying to trick his way into getting the right beverage. The other members of SEVENTEEN immediately called him out when he picked up a glass and smelled it through the straw before making a face. However, Joshua Hong simply stated that the straw moved towards his nose when he was trying to put it in his mouth.

Things got interesting when Joshua finally took a sip of the "sikhye". Upon tasting the drink, he made a pleased face as if he got the sweet drink. However, his fellow members were not convinced. "It's really sikhye," Joshua insisted, offering his glass to DK and Vernon. Unfortunately, the other boys saw through the act and they all just laughed instead of taking the offer.

Not surprisingly, SEVENTEEN fans were delighted with Joshua's tricks. Some Carats pointed out that Hong Jisoo was "trying to pull a Jeonghan" and cheating at the challenge. Although it didn't work out so well for Joshua, it still managed to make everyone laugh.
