BTS’s popularity is unstoppable and the boys are not showing any signs of slowing down. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have been capturing the attention of a worldwide audience and gaining a lot of international fans every time they appear on foreign shows.

Now, J-Media hopes that BTS would appear on the American version of King of Mask Singer, known as The Masked Singer. The creator of the show even shared that BTS promoted the show on social media before and it garnered a lot of attention.

“When we launched The Masked Singe’ season 1, BTS promoted it on Twitter and YouTube and it received a lot of ‘likes,’” the creator said.

When John Travolta, Ashley Tisdale, Jamie Lynn Spears, and Bradley Cooper were chosen as the “10 Celebrities Who Must Enter The New Season of The Masked Singer,“ one particular member of BTS was mentioned as well.

“It would be great if BTS’s Jimin was on the show,” international media reportedly said. However, they also understand that BTS is very busy, but remained optimistic about the possibility. “BTS is one of the most popular groups in the world, so it’s not easy for them to perform, however, it’s not absolutely hopeless.” And then wowkorea.jp simply said, “Jimin’s singing ability is excellent…”

Meanwhile, Jimin was not a singer at all when he became a BTS member, so he learned it from scratch. Their pre-debut vlogs revealed that he spent countless hours doing voice lessons. Since he believed that he needed to exert more effort than the rest of the members, Jimin became obsessed with perfecting his singing skills.

Fast forward to 2020 and Jimin is now one of the most sought-after singers in the entertainment world. The 24-year-old singer, songwriter, and dancer is a part of BTS’ “Vocal Line” and has been chosen multiple times by artists as someone they want to collaborate with.

One of those artists is Ailee. The 30-year-old Korean-American singer and songwriter is considered to be one of the most powerful singers in K-Pop, so her acknowledging Jimin’s vocals proved that the BTS star's hard work and perseverance have finally paid off.

“There’s just like something in his voice, the way he sings, that just seduces you,” Ailee said in an interview with Eric Nam. “I’m not saying I’m attracted to him like that, but his voice is so captivating. And the way he sings is just mind-blowing. The way he does all his vocals and falsettos sometimes is just like, ‘Who is this guy!’”
