BoJack Horseman season 6 recently concluded on Netflix, and it serves as the final installment of the animated series. Many fans were disappointed with the decision, as most of them were expecting to get a BoJack Horseman season 7.

Netflix announced the sixth installment would be the final one; meaning there'll be no BoJack Horsemen season 7 happening on the platform. While many were disappointed, it's still impressive the series made it to six seasons as the streaming giant canceled many series over the past years.

In an interview with Vulture, showrunner Raphael Bob-Waksberg revealed the cancelation of BoJack Horseman season 7 was not his decision but Netflix's. But despite the cancelation, he was given enough time to wrap up and deliver a deserving ending to the titular character.

However, Bob-Waksberg revealed he wanted to continue BoJack Horseman for a "couple more years" after six seasons. Yet, he's amazed they've gone this far and wouldn't complain about it. He said most series don't even get a second season on Netflix and he thinks they're lucky they premiered on the streaming service.

Meanwhile, BoJack Horseman season 6 was split into two parts; the first half arrived in October 2019, while the second half dropped on Friday, Jan. 31. The program is one of the longest-running and oldest shows on Netflix, which arrived in 2014. It was also considered as one of the best original series on the platform.

In the series, Will Arnett plays the titular character, alongside other stars like Alison Brie, Aaron Paul, and Daniel Radcliffe. The sixth and final installment picked up the events in season 5 and was able to tie all the loose ends and deliver satisfying endings to some of the major characters.

Although we're not getting a BoJack Horseman season 7, the final season still delivered satisfying stories. For instance, the titular character survives the drowning incident in his pool. Even though he's serving a jail sentence, he's still willing to make everything right in his life.

Moreover, Diane married Guy and moved to Houston, while Todd moved with his girlfriend, Maude. Princess Carolyn, on the other hand, started her own production company and now married to Judah. Mr. Peanutbutter is still the same but his relationship with Pickles has ended.

BoJack Horseman season 7 seems impossible now, especially since most of the characters were given a proper ending. While the cancelation is disappointing, it's still nice seeing the series trying the loose ends throughout its entire run.
