The Chinese tech company Xiaomi is one of the strongest contenders in the smartphone industry bravely going against giants like Apple, Samsung, and Huawei. Xiaomi CEO Lu Weibing recently revealed several details about the 100W Super Charge Turbo Technology of the company. Several reports also claim that the Chinese smartphone maker is working on three smartphones with powerful specs.
Xiaomi 100W Super Charge Turbo Technology
In 2019, Xiaomi CEO Lu Weibing mentioned about the 100W Super Charge Turbo tech that the company is developing. Aside from the video, we only know that the technology is capable of fully charging 4,000 mAh battery in as fast as 17 minutes. The CEO noted last year that Redmi would be the first brand to launch the product and would introduce it to the consumers.
The CEO is back one again with more details about Xiaomi's 100W Super Charge Turbo. First, the CEO revealed that Xiaomi is at the stage where it could soon mass-produce the technology. Weibing also shared that devices with 100W Super Charge Turbo technology would be equipped with security features.
In terms of performance, the CEO said that Xiaomi is planning to make the 100W Super Charge Turbo Technology accessible technically and would like to make sure that it would offer long and sustainable charging time. Weibing also admitted that the company is currently looking into the capability of the technology to charge multiple devices, including wireless and wired charging.
Upcoming Xiaomi Smartphones
Aside from the 100W Super Charge Turbo technology. A new report claims that the Chinese smartphone maker is developing three smartphones. These upcoming handsets reportedly house Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC. Additionally, two of these smartphones allegedly would feature 108 MP camera sensors.
The latest report comes from XDA Developers, which discovered a couple of Xiaomi devices on build.prop files. According to the report, these smartphones come with umi and cmi names, also known as the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. Earlier leaks suggested that the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro would feature 16 GB of RAM and 120 Hz display refresh rate.
In addition to this, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro would pack 66W fast charging support and, as earlier mentioned, a108 MP primary shooter. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi spin-off brand POCO India launches today the POCO X2, which is a rebrand of the Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro. The POCO X2 is a powerful smartphone with a starting price of around $226 sporting a 120 Hz refresh rate display, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC.
