It has been nearly six months now since Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi proposed to Princess Beatrice. While the couple was said to just started dating a little over a year before the engagement, many royal fans and supporters have become quite excited after learning the great news.

Aside from the thought that there will be another special royal event, the wedding was also said to be the last one to happen in the next few decades. It is worth noting that the next generation of royals who will likely get married after the now-engaged couple is still under their pre-teenage years. So, it is not surprising why many people have been looking forward to this event.

According to Express UK, royal insiders previously shared that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's wedding is set to happen this spring season. Although several sources claimed that it is dated for a much later date this year, the recent reports have been eyeing May 29 as the final date.

However, no confirmations have been given yet to the public. It was asserted by the publication, though, that the couple is still waiting for Queen Elizabeth II's "signal."

It was also explained that the Queen is supposed to give the date during the first month of the year. But, considering the shocking and controversial decision made by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, this took over the Queen's time to announce Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's final wedding date.

As for the event's venue, the same publication revealed that it was initially planned to have the wedding at The Guards' Chapel in St James's Park. However, after the "bombshell" controversies that emerged centering on the York Princesses' father, Prince Andrew, this option was "written off," especially after the Duke of York announced that he is "stepping back" from his royal duties for good.

Even so, Town and Country asserted that Queen Elizabeth II "offered" the Buckingham Palace as a venue for Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi's wedding. But, this narrative has not been confirmed as well.

For the guest list, several reports revealed that there will be a lot of celebrities who will attend the ceremony. These will reportedly include Ellie Goulding and James Blunt.

Although members of the Royal Family will certainly be invited for the event, it remains unknown whether Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will attend or not. Nevertheless, Insider recently claimed that the Sussex couple, especially the Duchess will likely be present at the wedding.
