Jungkook is the youngest member of BTS, but even though he is already a certified adult, he still looks up to his older members. In fact, he still gets envious with some of them like a little child.
On Feb. 5, Big Hit Labels shared the latest BIGHIT Episode on its official YouTube channel. It featured the behind the scenes from BTS, Lee Hyun, and TXT group photos.
One of the concepts was forming all the artists in line from the shortest to the tallest. Then the group was divided into “Team Short,” “Team Medium,” and “Team Tall.” Despite being 178 cm/5’10” tall, which is considered to be above average for males, Jungkook belonged in “Team Medium” with fellow BTS members J-Hope and V, and TXT boys Beomgyu and Yeonjun.
After the “Team Medium” finished their photoshoot, Jungkook watched the “Team Tall,” which consists of his BTS hyungs Jin and RM, and TXT teen members Kai and Soobin, and couldn’t hide his envy.
“Here comes the tall guys,” Jungkook said. “Tall guys are lucky. I’ll be content with being small. Next life, I’ll be born taller. Maybe like 183 cm/6’. Don’t need to be like Soobin.”
Despite being one of the youngest artists of Big Hit Entertainment, Soobin is the tallest out of the bunch. The 19 years old stands at 185 cm/6’1” and towers over his hyungs, including Jungkook.
The BTS maknae then stood up to go and watch the snaps on the computer. “How does Team Tall look? I want to see. Best body proportions, right here,” he said.
After seeing how good the “Team Tall” looked, the very jealous Jungkook turned away and said: “Lucky people. I’m just going to go get changed.”
Jungkook is considered to be one of the tallest guys in BTS, so he is used to being a part of the “Team Tall.” In fact, he enjoys teasing Jimin for being small.
However, when all of the Big Hit Entertainment artists gathered together for the group photoshoot, Jungkook quickly realized that he’s no longer a part of the “Tall Team,” as the younger ones from TXT took his spot. But Jin (179 cm/5’10.5″ tall) and RM (181 cm/5’11” tall) maintained their tall status, making their baby bro even more jealous.
