Katy Perry is walking down the aisle in April. The "Firework" singer and her fiance Orlando Bloom are, reportedly, planning to tie the knot in spring.

Almost a year after their engagement, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are, allegedly, getting married. A new report from Us Weekly noted that the couple is planning a spring wedding.

Despite the delay in their supposed December 2019 wedding, the couple intends to push through with it in spring. Perry and the Pirates of the Caribbean star are, reportedly, just ironing out some details of their nuptials.

According to a source of Us Weekly, the couple doesn't mind the delay because they enjoy every minute of planning their special day. The pair is, allegedly, having one local wedding party and a destination wedding party.

The insider added the "Dark Horse" songstress would also like to get pregnant after their wedding. Bloom shares a son with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.

"Katy wants to have her first kid soon after they get married," the source said.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom first met in January 2016 at a Golden Globes after-party. They dated for a year before calling it off in February 2017. They rekindled their romance in January 2018 and the Lord of the Rings actor proposed to Perry on Valentine's Day last year on a romantic helicopter ride.

During her appearance on KISS Breakfast with Tom & Daisy in June, Perry talked about their wedding plans and the importance of working on their relationship. The Grammy-winner said she and Bloom are taking one step at a time before they finally said "I do" to each other. She explained that they are laying the emotional foundation of their relationship before they jump into a lifetime commitment.

It is understandable that the couple is cautious of their relationship and not rushing to get wed as both of them had been previously married. The 35-year-old singer was, previously, married to Russell Brand from 2010 to 2012 and dated John Mayer for a couple of years. Bloom, on the other hand, was, previously, married to Miranda Kerr before they split in 2013.

So far, Katy and Orlando have yet to reveal details of their wedding such as who will make the singer's gown or who gets invited on their big day. Many speculate that Peery's wedding gown could be couture from her go-to brands, such as Dolce & Gabbana, Moschino or Valentino.
