A royal visit to Wales this week brought back happy memories for Kate Middleton. The Duchess of Cambridge did not expect that two of her former school teachers would be waiting to see her in a crowd of people wanting to take a peek of her and Prince William.
Kevin Allford, who came to see Kate with his wife Denise Evans-Allford, was Kate's former netball coach. Upon reuniting, the duchess gave both her ex-teachers a big hug.
Apparently, they last saw her when she visited her old school as a 14-year-old. The Allfords, however, said that Kate did not change at all and they recalled that she belonged to wonderful batch of class that got along so well together.
Now, unearthed photos reveal what has happened to Kate's former netball and prep school pals. In a photo released on the Daily Mail, Kate's old friends are now successful people in their own right as well.
One of them, Emily Bevan, is actually a TV star who went to Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Bevan was in the cast of The Casual Vacancy, the miniseries written by J.K. Rowling.
Another one of Kate's friends now works as a photographer. Zoe de Turberville studied music at Cardiff and earned a teaching qualification in Cambridge. Photography is her hobby just like her old friend Kate. According to Daily Mail, de Turberville usually shares her photographs from weddings and other events online. However, it's unclear if she's a photographer full-time or if she's also still a music teacher.
Fiona Beacroft is, now, a mother of three kids, just like Kate. She studied business in Oxford and is the accounts director of Beacroft Farms.
Kate's two other prep school friends are somewhat of a mystery to their former classmates. They know that Chelsie Finlay-Notman is also a mother of three. Meanwhile, it's unclear where and what happened to Katherine Nipperess.
The Allfords said that they made an effort to drive all the way down to the south of Wales knowing that Kate will be there. They recalled that their former student, who will be the future Queen of England, loved her time in St. Andrew's. They have also seen her siblings, Pippa and James, grow up.
The Duchess of Cambridge said that she really wants to instil the values she learned at her old prep school to her kids. Kate, eventually, left to study at Marlborough College, and then later at St. Andrew's University, where she and Prince William met.
