SEVENTEEN fans already know that the members are really good friends after they all grew up with each other while training. However, the same bond extends to their families as well. Interestingly, each idol's own family members are close to the rest of the group. This was recently proven when some of the members tried to get DK's older sister to lend them some money.
In a recent episode of IF SEVENTEEN, DK joined fellow members Jeonghan, Hoshi, Mingyu, Seungkwan, and Dino to take on several fun challenges. One of the challenges that were featured at the end of the episode showed Dokyeom having to get someone to reply to his text message within a minute. In this case, Lee Seokmin decided to send a message to his older sister. In an effort to get her to respond as soon as possible, he informed his noona that he won in the lottery.
Not surprisingly, DK's sister immediately responded to the news. In addition to sending a text message that helped Dokyeom to complete his mission, his sister also called to confirm his winning. Unfortunately, the episode was cut short so Carats were disappointed thinking that they wouldn't know what happened in the call.
Luckily, the official SEVENTEEN YouTube channel uploaded a follow-up to the episode which focused solely on the phone call from DK's sister. Upon answering his sibling's call, Dokyeom informed his noona that he won second place in the lottery so he was entitled to 60 million won. His sister asked if he was joking but Lee Seokmin insisted that it really happened.
Since DK's sister seemed unconvinced, his fellow SEVENTEEN members tried to help in keeping up the charade. Jeonghan joined the call by asking Dokyeom's sibling if he could borrow 5 million won but she sternly answered, "No." The response immediately had the other members joining in as well, begging for money. However, she sternly told them to be quiet as it was now obvious that it is all a prank.
It doesn't end there as Hoshi even tried calling his own sister with the same story. The other members would then pretend to call their own sisters telling them they won in the lottery while Dino pretended to call his grandmother with the "good news." Needless to say, the members of SEVENTEEN are truly great at playing games with the other idols and even their own family.
