There is little doubt that SEVENTEEN fans are missing one very important member of the group for some time now. After all, it has been almost three months since S.Coups decided to take a break from work to get help in dealing with his anxiety. However, it looks like Carats may finally get to see Choi Seungcheol again next week. The teaser for an upcoming episode of Going Seventeen has teased on S.Coups' return.
In the latest episode of Going Seventeen, 11 members of the boy group took part in food challenges that were hosted by main vocalist DK. In addition to S.Coups not being a part of the episode, fellow idol Jeonghan was notably absent as well. However, fans were quick to accept the two members' absence since the episode may have been filmed while Choi Seungcheol and Yoon Jeonghan were both taking a break for health reasons. On the other hand, the episode also teased on S.Coups' return.
At the end of the episode, fans were treated with a teaser on what will happen next. Interestingly, it shows the members of SEVENTEEN in a completely different setting. This time, it looks like they will be playing games at home. While the theme of the challenge appears to be an Easter Egg hunt, Carats were more excited about one thing that showed up in the teaser. Interestingly, it clearly features S.Coups laughing and hugging fellow member Joshua.
So does this mean that S.Coups is finally coming back from his long hiatus? Although it would be wonderful to know that Choi Seungcheol has now fully recovered and is ready to reunite with the members of SEVENTEEN, the episode appears to have been filmed before he went into hiatus. For instance, fans have pointed out that Joshua still has light brown hair (he went from blue to green in the past week). In addition to that, Wonwoo is still sporting his gray hair while Mingyu was yet to dye his blond locks to his more current darker shade.
For now, S.Coups' current status is still unknown. Nevertheless, that hasn't stopped the hashtag #SEUNGCHEOL from trending in late January when the SEVENTEEN leader was reportedly seen hanging out with his fellow members in recent photographs.
