Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's return to England might be sooner than expected. Reports revealed that Queen Elizabeth has especially requested that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex come in March to celebrate Commonwealth Day with the royal family.
As reported in The Sunday Times, Prince Harry and Meghan are bringing their son, Archie Harrison, back to London for their "final round of royal duties." Commonwealth Day is celebrated on March 9, where members of the royal family are expected to be at the Westminster Abbey for the service.
Prince Harry and Meghan are the president and vice-president of the Commonwealth Trust; hence, their presence has been requested. After this, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to transition to private life, as arranged with Queen Elizabeth in January.
The royal couple has since been enjoying a quiet life away from media scrutiny since their temporary settlement in Vancouver, Canada. According to Daily Mail, Meghan feels especially less stressed since stepping back as a senior member of the royal family with her husband.
Apparently, Prince Harry and Meghan are pretty much enjoying their time doing yoga and long nature walks around their quiet neighborhood. The couple is staying in an idyllic part of Vancouver Island called Horth Hill Park.
Meanwhile, the Sussex royals were recently in Miami, Florida for a private engagement. The couple was invited to speak at a JP Morgan investment summit, which was attended by business leaders and other VIPs.
After the event, Prince Harry and Meghan also enjoyed dinner with Jennifer Lopez and her fiancé Alex Rodriquez. According to Page Six, the royal couple was seen at the Habitat cafe inside 1 Hotel in South Beach with one of Hollywood's power couple.
Witnesses said that Prince Harry and Meghan got on really well with Lopez and Rodriquez. The singer, who recently headlined a successful Super Bowl Halftime Show with Shakira, was also overheard inviting the Sussexes to bring their son to their house to meet their kids.
Prince Harry and Meghan are also said to be planning a Los Angeles visit with their son this summer. Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, is based in L.A. and the Sussexes are said to be looking for a house in the area as their other home in North America.
On Jan. 8, Prince Harry and Meghan announced that they will be stepping back from the royal duties. Queen Elizabeth agreed to their request but they will no longer be asked to represent Her Majesty in official royal functions beginning spring of 2020.
