Happy birthday, Dino of SEVENTEEN! The maknae of the boy group has just turned 21 on February 11, 2020, and his fellow idols decided to give Lee Chan a little birthday party. Amazingly, it looks like the youngest member of SVT got one of the best presents he could get on his birthday. The celebration actually included his eldest hyung S.Coups, who has been in hiatus since last year.
In November 2019, Pledis Entertainment announced that S.Coups will be going in hiatus to seek help in treating his anxiety. Unfortunately, this meant that the SEVENTEEN leader would not be joining the other members in any events including the North American leg of their Ode To You world tour. Needless to say, fans were sad about Choi Seungcheol being away for so long but continued to pray for the rapper's health. However, it looks like S.Coups is doing so much better, as seen in his recent reunion with the rest of SVT.
SEVENTEEN recently posted two photos on their official Twitter account along with the caption, "Happy Dino's Day!" in celebration of their youngest member's birthday. In the first picture, Lee Chan is shown posing with a bouquet of flowers but it was the second image that immediately caught the attention of Carats. The second photo is a group selfie taken by Mingyu and it clearly shows S.Coups sitting beside Hoshi. Amazingly, it looks like Choi Seungcheol decided to reunite with his fellow members so they could all celebrate Dino's birthday.
Hoshi later posted a video on the official SEVENTEEN Twitter account from the celebration. Once again, it features S.Coups smiling and cheering as Dino blew the candles out from his birthday cake.
Although S.Coups' reunion with SEVENTEEN is clearly a recent one, this isn't the first appearance that the leader made in some new SVT content. Choi Seungcheol also appeared in the new episode of Going Seventeen where the members had to play a game that combined Mafia with a treasure hunt. In the episode, S.Coups and the rest of the boy group had to guess which three members were Mafia while trying to find 500,000 won that has been hidden around the house. By the end of the episode, Jun had been eliminated but the Mafias have not yet been identified.
S.Coups and the rest of SEVENTEEN will be back in the next episode of Going Seventeen, which will be released on Monday, February 17.
