As the persistent rumors suggest, Paul Pogba will soon exit from Manchester United, and the Frenchman's departure could happen as soon as the end of the season. The Red Devils have reportedly prepared the way for Pogba's transfer by agreeing to reduce the striker's selling price.

Top European clubs will likely line up to sign the injury-plagued Pogba, who last played in late December 2019. Prior to his latest sidelining at the start of 2020, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been adamant in saying that Pogba will remain at Old Trafford through the end of his contract, which is summer of 2021.

However, the report from The Sun appears to indicate Solskjaer is now open to send Pogba to a new club. This change of heart on the part United was signaled by the decision to make it easier for interested teams to take in the World Cup winner.

Per the same report, Pogba's asking price is now £30 million cheaper. It is expected that teams that have been scouting the former Juventus star will ramp up on their efforts to lure Pogba away from Old Trafford.

Real Madrid remains in the cards with the Spanish giants' boss, Zinedine Zidane, still bent on bringing over the France international to Bernabeu.

Or Pogba can make his way back to Italian football and rejoin Juventus, a scenario that The Sun is not far-fetched. The 26-year-old, after all, had a sterling spell donning the Juve jersey for four seasons before the move to United.

However, former English striker Darren Bent is convinced the troubled Pogba could continue playing in Premier League but with a new club. If Pogba is considering a stay in England, Bent has called on Liverpool and Manchester City to make a move on the prized player, per the report from Metro.

Himself, a striker like Pogba, Bent said now is the time to make a trade bid on the United star as it appeared that Old Trafford execs are all set to make the call. The club hierarchy is ready to sell the superstar.

"When someone like a Paul Pogba comes available on the market, and let's not forget he's only 26, there's going to be so many takers ... It wouldn't surprise me if teams like Manchester City come in for him. I can see him getting in Liverpool's team, too. If he's on top, top form he can get in most teams in the world," Bent was reported as saying.

He added that despite the controversies and string of injuries that have been hounding Pogba lately, acquiring teams are assured that they'd be getting a solid quality player in the Frenchman.
