Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel have a rough 2019 ending. Speculations emerged towards the end of the year that the former NSYNC singer was dating a co-star after they were spotted holding hands. Now, new rumors have it that Justin and wife Jessica Biel are heading for divorce after their marriage counseling did not work out.
According to Life & Style, the couple is already discussing divorce after they failed to save their marriage through marriage counseling. The outlet claimed Biel no longer trusts her husband after he was seen holding hands with his Palmer co-star Alisha Wainwright during a night out in New Orleans in November. A source of the outlet claimed that the couple is just putting a happy facade but they are actually in counseling and things are not going well.
Gossip Cop, however, debunked the rumor. It cited a source close to the situation, who assured that the tabloid story as "absolutely not true."
Timberlake did spark a dating scandal with Wainwright after he got overly friendly with the actress. The "SexyBack" singer then apologized for his lapse in judgment in an Instagram post in December. He also apologized to Biel and his family for putting them into an embarrassing situation and vowed to focus on being the best husband and father he could be moving forward.
Earlier this month, the couple looked to be in a better place and have put the incident behind them when they appeared together at the premiere of The Sinner Season 3. It was their first public appearance since the holding hands' controversy. JT attended the event in support of Biel, who starred and produced the USA Network series.
According to People, the couple was also inseparable at the premiere afterparty. The two were spotted holding hands and getting intimate with each other while they mingled around.
Moreover, the A-Team actress recently wished her husband a happy birthday. Biel posted on social media a photo of her kissing Timberlake along with a sweet tribute to her husband in celebration of his 39th birthday on February 1.
In January, reports indicated that the couple also spent time together with their son at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles. Justin and Jessica reportedly had a dinner date with some friends and the "Can't Stop This Feeling" singer focused his attention on his wife all night long.
