The Walking Dead season 10 is set to come back on AMC later this month. The series has been off-air for two months, so viewers are now excited to see what will happen to some of the characters. Particularly, many were interested to see how Alpha and Negan's relationship will evolve, as the latter will likely kill the leader of the Whisperers at some point.

Fans have been wondering whether or not Alpha will meet her ultimate demise in The Walking Dead season 10 after spotting some clues. She and Negan met in episode 6 of the current installment during the conflict between the Whisperers and the main survivors. Some speculated their relationship will develop, but others think Negan will kill Alpha.

In the comics, Alpha and Negan's relationship ends with a bloody scene. Negan became a prisoner in Alexandria, but he was able to escape and seek the Whisperers' support. Alpha allowed him to stay, but this may lead to Negan killing the leader of the Whisperers. In the comics, he ended up beheading her after winning her trust. Moreover, AMC hinted a major twist between these two.

However, others claim Negan and Alpha's relationship will shift in another direction. Comicbook.com noted that there's content descriptor containing "SVL," indicating sexual and violent scenes in the next episode. Because of this, fans started to wonder whether the relationship of the two becomes sexual or will turn into a violent one.

Meanwhile, in the midseason premiere of The Walking Dead season 10, the main survivors will try to make it out of the cave they were trapped in. Titled "Squeeze," the episode will see the survivors being taunted by Alpha's horde and fans already have an idea who could make it out alive. The episode could alter everything as some characters may die, while others may change because of what happened.

As for Michonne, she is on a solo trip with Virgil as she was trying to help him get some answers. Danai Gurira's character will depart at some point this season, so the question now is whether Virgil will still have a role after Michonne's departure. Right now, there is no indication he's going to stay, but it's nice to see him being part of the series and his story is worth exploring as well.

The Walking Dead season 10 returns on Sunday, Feb. 23, on AMC.
