Kate Middleton now plays a vital role in the royal family after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's exit and Queen Elizabeth II gives more royal duties to younger royals. With the continuous praises and love of the people she receives, fans believe she may earn the title of a "Queen" shortly instead of the queen consort.
On the Royals podcast, royal commentators Zoe Burrell and Angela Mollard commended Prince William's wife for her "brilliant attitude and demeanor" whenever she is gracing royal events. Allegedly, Her Majesty is very thankful for the blessing Kate Middleton brought to the royal family, per Express.
Despite convention, Mollard and Burrell believed fans would call the Duchess of Cambridge as Queen Kate when her husband becomes the new king. Although her official title would be queen consort, they insisted she would earn her unofficial title in time.
Mollard seemed to be excited to see Kate Middleton grow in a way they didn't see Princess Diana bloom. No one saw the Princess of Wales reach maturity, and her daughter-in-law is doing brilliantly with that.
"She has got three children, she never puts a foot wrong, and she is being imaginative with her dresses," she said. But most importantly, Kate Middleton looks happy and is enjoying doing so.
Mollard added that Kate Middleton showed intrigue whenever speaking to dignitaries when doing her royal duties with Prince William. She also said that Queen Elizabeth must be thankful for her before she goes to sleep.
On the same podcast, Mollard revealed Prince William and Kate Middleton would have more responsibility this year after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal duties. Kate would reportedly have a more critical role in the "very contained" royal family.
Aside from the two, other members of the royal family would also be stepping up this year, like Prince Charles. Prince William also has more high-profile events than that of his father, proving that he is already stepping "into that gap."
With their moves and contributions, the royal family will be very contained, and Kate Middleton plays a vital role in this. Mollard revealed it is what makes it more interesting. She recently went solo at a NATO reception at Buckingham Palace while Prince William was in the Middle East, performing his own royal duty. She confidently greeted world leaders and represented the U.K. alongside Queen Elizabeth.
