A lot is expected to change after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from their royal duties. Aside from their security, a royal expert claimed that the Duke of Sussex becomes "very isolated" after the so-called royal exit.
The London Evening Standard editor Robert Jobson told Sky News, via Express, that Prince Harry would feel the same way his wife felt when she moved to the U.K. Now that he moved to Canada, his family is "on the other side of the world," and their situation started to change in the past two months.
"Harry is very isolated now, and that is the danger," he said. When Meghan Markle moved to the U.K., she felt isolated, she felt unsupported, and she was far from her family.
By the looks of it, Jobson saw that their situation got "completely reversed." This doesn't only put Prince Harry isolated, but in danger, too.
The former head of royal protection Dai Davies told talkRadio host Mike Graham that Prince Harry and Megan Markle's new status put them at risk even if they chose to reside in a safe country like Canada. He added that the said nation has "more firearms by head in population" than anywhere in the world.
The royal security expert revealed three men, who were plotting to harm Prince Harry, are already in custody. Sadly, the threat to his safety would never be gone.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as senior members of the royal family, resulting in changing the dynamic of the royal family, Insider noted. The royal couple announced their decision on Instagram last month, adding that they also wanted to become financially independent.
After a crisis talk with Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, and Prince William, the Buckingham Palace announced the Sussexes would stop using their HRH titles. They, too, would be giving up all their royal duties, starting in the spring this year.
After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle revealed their hardships as working royals in the controversial ITV documentary last year, royal experts predicted the possibility that they would leave their royal posts. To recall, Meghan talked about the media scrutiny she is continuously suffering since becoming a royal that is affecting her mental health.
Meghan Markle emotionally said that not many people were asking if she was okay. Prince Harry, on the other hand, vowed that he wouldn't be "bullied into playing a game" that killed his mother, Princess Diana.
