There is no doubt that Kate Middleton is passionate about her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. Despite her royal duties, the mom of three is a very hands-on in raising her kids with Prince William.

The Duchess of Cambridge ensures that she spends time with her kids so that they will remember the small and simple moments when they grow up. In a podcast interview with Giovanna Fletcher's Happy Mum Happy Baby, she said that it's these quality moments, no matter how unglamorous, where the children absorb everything.

Kate shared that she was prompted to ponder on what she wants her children to remember the most when someone raised this question to her during her latest initiative, the "5 Big Questions to Under Fives" tour around the U.K. The mother of three revealed that she wants her kids to have good memories of their parents bringing them to the beach, sitting around a bonfire to cook sausages, and the other crazy fun stuff that happen when families are together.

The royal wants her children to recall that they didn't have a stressful household, where everything has to be perfect. She said that, as a mom of three children close to each other's age, she is learning not to sweat the small stuff.

Meanwhile, in relation to "5 Big Questions," Kensington Palace's Instagram posted a video of the duchess personally addressing many parents about her latest endeavor. She said that she launched this project to understand the challenges of parents, families and carers in raising and guiding the next generation.

The video also showed a glimpse of Kate visiting various schools around the U.K. to meet parents and caregivers. She had numerous discussions with the adults about their needs in raising children under five.

Over 200,000 people have answered Kate's national survey. The questionnaire will be up until Friday, Feb. 21.

The duchess wants early childhood development to become part of the conversation in many sectors of society. In raising this awareness, Kate hopes that it will bring lasting, positive changes to benefit the next generation.

Meanwhile, Kate and Prince William are currently taking a break from their royal duties this week to spend time with their kids. Prince George and Princess Charlotte are currently on a school break, thus the Cambridges are off on a holiday.

It's unclear, however, if the family are traveling this week for their brief break. Last year, the Cambridges went skiing in France and a year before that, they spent their week off at their country home, Anmer Hall.
