Since last year, most of us assume that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is the successor of the Galaxy Fold 2. It turns out that it is another flip foldable from the South Korean tech giant. Now, we have a plethora of leaks revealing more details about the next foldable smartphone from Samsung.

Galaxy Fold 2 Specs And Features

The first set of leaks comes from the Korean site Ajunews as separately confirmed by Display Supply Chain Consultants' Ross Young. Both sources reveal that Samsung is currently working on the galaxy Fold 2 under the code name Champ. Additionally, these sources claim that the upcoming foldable phone would feature a massive 7.7-inch display on its unfolded state. The Galaxy Fold 2 might also feature a notch-less display since Samsung is allegedly testing it's under the screen camera technology.

Meanwhile, XDA Developers' Max Weinbach, who has been providing the industry with reliable insights and tips, revealed more details about the Samsung galaxy Fold 2. On his Twitter account, Weinbach shares that the upcoming foldable smartphone would feature an infinity v display on its front cover, and either an under-display camera or a hole punch on its main display. The tipster also mentions a new form of S-Pen on the Galaxy Fold 2.

Weinbach adds that the upcoming successor of the Galaxy Fold would have the same camera configuration as the Galaxy S20 Plus. Additionally, he says that the Galaxy Fold 2 would sport stainless steel and ceramic body. The tipster also mentions that the device would be available in various color options, namely Blue, Silver, Gold, Pink, Black.

Galaxy Fold 2 With S-Pen

If Weinbach's recent tip about the Galaxy Fold 2 is accurate, this would be the first time that consumers would see another Samsung device with an S-pen outside the Galaxy Note series. The S-Pen could make the upcoming foldable smartphone distinct from other foldable devices and could transform the device into a tablet with its massive display. A few weeks ago, a leak revealed that Motorola is also planning to release another smartphone with a stylus accessory, so this might be an upcoming rival for the Galaxy Fold 2.

At this point, these are just mere speculations, and nothing is official about the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. In this case, we suggest taking these details with a good measure of salt and with skepticism. We will keep you posted on the latest news and update in the tech world as soon as we stumble upon more interesting news.
