After Queen Elizabeth II bans Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from using the word royal in their brand, a commentator claims Her Majesty has "the last laugh" with all these ordeals. The Sussexes allegedly make a "fundamental mistake" when they think they can leave the monarchy that easily with everything that they want.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expected to use Sussex Royal as their official brand to do their businesses and other activities. However, there are reports that the Queen warned the two that they would not be allowed to use the said name to launch their new foundation after they stepped down as senior members of the royal family. This news came after they spent a lot of time building their social media presence under the banner and launched a new website with the same name.

With everything that happened, Sky News AU host and commentator Rowan Dean praised Queen Elizabeth for her move before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle officially left their senior roles, per Express. He then said that the monarch had the "last laugh" and Buckingham Palace played their so-called Megxit well.

"Basically, if you look at what Harry and Meghan did as a kind of metaphor for the millennial, woke generation, they thought they could have it all at no cost to themselves," Dean explained. "Virtue-signalling their way in a lifestyle of abundant wealth and fame and glamour, and let other people bear the consequences while they jetted around."

He, then, talked about the fundamental mistake that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle committed for not understanding the institution well. Although everyone would believe that the six in line to the throne knew everything about the Firm that he came from, he might have no idea that the royal family is there to protect the constitution for the British taxpayers.

As they thought that they could have it all, Queen Elizabeth managed their exit very well. Business Times recently reported that the Commonwealth leader banned the royal couple from using the Sussex Royal brand after a series of complex talks with other senior officials. They all came with a decision to stop them from using the word royal due to "inconsistency in their branding."

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly accepted the senior royals' decision as part of their new working arrangements. Unfortunately, along with with other things that they couldn't do for Queen Elizabeth, the Commonwealth, and the military anymore, they were also not allowed to continue using their brand.
