Pete Davidson has been one of the biggest stars of NBC's Saturday Night Live, but he's barely been a part of the show this season. He wasn't around during the early part, so some are now speculating he's probably planning to leave the show at some point.

Just recently, Davidson revealed in an interview with Charlamagne Tha God how he feels about Saturday Night Live. He voiced out his frustrations with the show, saying that he has become almost a punchline and it's been affecting him to a certain extent.

Davidson personally thinks he should be done with Saturday Night Live as they make fun of him on it. Although he gets it, he said that he became cold open political punchlines and Weekend Update jokes. Then, he revealed that he wanted last year to be the last year, but he's still around and trying.

Davidson has been part of Saturday Night Live over the past few years, but the show has been constantly making fun of his appearance and also romantic life. These are just some of the reasons why he has thoughts of leaving the show for good.

He noted that it is a "very cutthroat environment" and frequently questions whether or not he's the least funny of all the people there. But despite what he feels about the show, Davidson still praised his fellow cast members and show creator Lorne Michaels.

Aside from Davidson, there is also another cast member that may leave the show at some point: Colin Jost. In a report via Variety, his book A Very Punchable Face mentions about Jost planning to exit from the show after the 2020 election.

Jost has been part of the Saturday Night Live for over a decade. Initially, he was part of the show as a writer before eventually making an appearance on screen. Later on, he became a Weekend Update co-anchor and also shifted slightly to sketches.

In another report, Saturday Night Live is currently on its brief hiatus and set to come back this coming Saturday, Feb. 29. The leap day episode will be hosted by John Mulaney, while David Byrne also joins as a musical guest.

Meanwhile, the March 7 episode will be hosted by Daniel Craig, while The Weeknd will be the musical guest. Craig hasn't hosted the show for about eight years, so many were happy to see him back. But beyond that, it's also exciting to see who will be the host near the end of the season.
