Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, are going to be out of the county in the middle of March. The royal pair announced that they will be visiting the Republic of Cyprus and The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, while the Prince of Wales will also be flying into Bosnia and Herzegovina for a solo royal visit.

According to the press statement from Clarence House, Prince Charles will be traveling to Bosnia and Herzegovina first. The purpose of his visit on March 17 is to look into the citizen reforms following the resolution of the conflict in the Western Balkans.

The heir to the throne will also be visiting a memorial in Srebrenica to commemorate the anniversary of the Bosnian genocide 25 years ago. The Prince of Wales will be talking to survivors and family members of the victims who are still missing even today.

Then, the Duchess of Cornwall will join her husband in Cyprus a few days later to explore the capital of Nicosia and visit the rural districts. The visit will boost the ties between the United Kingdom and Cyprus.

Prince Charles and Camilla are expected to be treated to Cyprus food and the arts. They will also be discussion science and education progress with community leaders.

This will be the first visit to the country for Prince Charles and Camilla. Prince William and Kate Middleton were at the Cypriot Royal Air Force Station in 2018.

After Cyprus, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall will be in Jordan to visit the royal family, who has a long-standing friendship with Queen Elizabeth. They are expected to grace cultural, environmental and religious sites in Jordan.

Meanwhile, in the wake of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shift from the royal family, Prince Charles and Prince William are, apparently, showing a united front. In a rare display of togetherness, Prince Charles had a remarkable father-son moment with his eldest child during a recent royal engagement.

Experts said that Prince Charles and Prince William rarely show their affection and emotion in public. The video showing the Prince of Wales playfully cheering on his son as he tried to shoot in basketball as people watch could signal a change between father and son now that Prince Harry is living far away.

Prince Harry and Meghan are due to return to the U.K. for their last royal engagements. By March 31, the Sussexes will no longer be asked to serve the Queen as they step back from the royal spotlight.
