Park So Dam sent a food truck to the set that said: "Good Luck, Oppa. Do your best." The meaning of Oppa has a wide meaning in the Korean language, as an address for a woman's older brother, close male friend or boyfriend.
The pair played the role of brother and sister in the award-winning film Parasite and have gotten even closer as they traveled to different countries to attend awards shows and promote the film. They even won Screen Actors Guild trophies when they received the award for Best Cast, the first time for foreign actors to receive the award.
In his post, Choi Woo Shik thanked his on-screen sister for sending the food truck. "So Dam, I am touched. This is so kind of you, such a sweet thing to do. Thank you," he said in his caption.
Choi Woo Shik was not the only actor to receive such a gift from Park So Dam. Recently, her close friend Chae Soo Bin also posted that she received a similar gift from the Parasite actress. Park So Dam sent a coffee truck to the set of Chae Soo Bin's drama Half and Half to cheer on her friend.
