Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's marriage has always been speculated to be on the brink of collapse. With or without a new project for both stars, rumors about their relationship never stop.
Take for instance a new story from New Idea. The tabloid alleged that the couple recently fought at the set of Kidman's new Netflix movie, The Prom. It claimed that Urban is having a trust issue after his wife's infamous kiss with her Big Little Lies co-star Alexander Skarsgard at the 2017 Emmys.
"Keith is finding it really hard to trust Nicole with other men on set. He knows it's just acting, he is still scared from seeing how close Nicole and Alex are," a source told the tabloid.
New Idea also posted some photos of Kidman and Urban on set together and claimed that the couple look "tense." Gossip Cop noted that the tabloid particularly picked these photos but deliberately forgot to include the other snaps of the pair when they were smiling and walking around together.
Gossip Cop stressed this is just one of the false claims about the couple. The outlet also checked in with Kidman's spokesperson, who also confirmed that the article is not true.
The New Idea's article also seems to be confusing as Skarsgard is not among the cast members of The Prom. Yet, it claimed that Urban is worried of his wife and Skarsgard's friendship.
Kidman and The Legend of Tarzan actor will be reuniting in the upcoming movie, The Northman, but not in The Prom. The Northman is scheduled to start filming this week in Belfast, Ireland.
Moreover, Urban didn't seem particularly bothered by Nicole and Alex's kiss back in 2017. In fact, he also congratulated Skarsgård for winning the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series award at the 2017 Emmys. Urban and Kidman also looked very much in love throughout the night.
However, after the kiss made headlines, Kidman addressed the issue on the Graham Norton Show. She stressed that it was just a "congratulatory kiss" for Skarsgård.
In the past year, countless rumors have been published about Nicole and Keith's marriage. In April 2019, the country singer allegedly warned Kidman's Undoing costar Hugh Grant to stay away from the Bombshell actress. In November, singer Pink allegedly "saved" the couple's marriage. There were also rumors that Kidman and Urban skipped the Oscars earlier this year because of marital problems. None of these is true.
