The Tesla Model 3 remains one of the top choices for plugin owners, and the company has now released something to make it stand out. Tesla has launched the Model 3 Track package, something that offers owners a combination of style and better performance on the road.

According to the Tesla website, the Performance Upgrade Model 3 Track Package offers Tesla Model 3 complete hardware package designed to give you maximum cornering force, braking performance, and high-speed stability for the best lap times. This package was actually teased as early as last year, part of the parts catalog that came out.

There are, however, some things worth noting. One is that it is only compatible with Model 3 Performance Dual-Motor All-Wheel Drive. Also, high-performance wheels and tires could affect the vehicle's range. The package is expected to become available by April.

While look and navigation will undergo a change, it will be interesting if the $5,500 investment will pay off. That is by no means a hefty investment, a reason why some should look at what this package actually has to offer. For a better overview of what it brings, check out the video below.

The miles a Tesla Model 3 can go remains a concern. To date, the company claims that the range that the plugin can go depends on the amount of charge the battery has as well as the vehicle's energy consumption rating. The problem with that is metrics. There are other external factors that come into mind, such as the temperature, among others. It remains a concern for most, and hopefully, Tesla finds a way to improve it.

Unlike the Model S and Model X, the Model 3 does not come with a feature that allows the driver to switch between typical and rated range, Insideevs.com pointed out. Thankfully, there is a resolution to the problem whereby one just needs to access the energy screen. Here, Tesla owners can see the range prediction based on the average consumption of the vehicle over the last 5, 15, or 30 miles.

Heading back to the Tesla Model 3 Track Package, it will be interesting if this will help the vehicle in terms of longevity of use or not. This is pretty essential for any owner, meaning longer drives result in getting chores or jobs done without worrying about running out of power. Though there are charging stations available, most want a mobile solution that brings them to their point of destination without having to make stops.
