Suga recently sparked concern after he was spotted altering one part of the “Black Swan” choreography during their live performance. The BTS star suffered from a shoulder injury during his trainee days and ARMYs are convinced that it may be acting up again.

One fan then took to Weverse to share the Suga’s old Twitter posts that seemingly answered the question of why he didn’t sit this one out even though he was probably in so much pain.

“Because I’ve already experienced not being able to perform on stage and disappointed many fans, I tried to get on stage no matter what happens,” Suga said in his heartfelt Twitter entry back in 2016.

Suga was talking about the cancellation of their Kobe, Japan concert on December 27-28, 2015 because he and V were not feeling well and needed medical care. Although the reason was valid, Suga still felt extremely guilty about it.

It was also in this lengthy post when Suga revealed that he felt “lacking as a person” after the debut of BTS. He then shared that he didn’t feel as genuine as he was before.

“I am the most sad when I realize that I cannot treat everyone fairly when dealing with many people. I don’t want to hurt anyone, but I can’t. I think I am still lacking as a person,” Suga said. “I love performing on stage and still love it today. I loved it even when I was 17 and performed in front of 2 people. I was able to look at those two people in the eyes because I was genuine in what I was doing. I feel like after debut, I haven’t been as genuine. It could be because I’ve realized that I am still lacking in so many areas.”

Suga recently talked about his "inner shadow." Some of the BTS lyrics revealed that achieving fame and fortune is not all rainbows and butterflies.

Suga’s “Interlude: Shadow” shows the dark side of being on top, and he touched on this topic on BTS’s interview with Zach Sang. The host asked: “What message do you want to share with the BTS ARMY going to this next era for you guys?”

“One message that penetrates the album as a whole is that you must face your inner shadows but resist becoming submerged into its depths,” Suga replied. “You must face it and move on forward.”
