BTS is, currently, the biggest boy group on the planet. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have reached the superstardom level that they are now known all around the world.

In fact, the BTS boys have graced a couple of international covers such as The Hollywood Reports, TIME, and Paper magazines. But according to CNN, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were also featured in the covers of Marie Claire and Vogue, thanks to very realistic edits.

Recently, CNN shared BTS’s achievements and showed several well-known magazine covers that RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were featured to illustrate their popularity. What the US news network failed to realize was that fact two of the covers that they posted were fan-made.

The Marie Claire and Vogue covers were taken from BTS’ photoshoot with Hollywood Reporter last year. Using the magazines’ fonts and styles, two very talented netizens turned the snaps into cover photos.

Reddit user chimothypark was behind the Marie Claire cover edit. It’s so believable especially because their Grammy goals were written on it. This is not the only cover that chimothypark made. The Reddit user created 8 unique covers including their solo ones: V in Harper’s BAZAAR, Jimin in TIME, Jin in Vanity Fair, Jungkook in W, J-Hope in Sleek, Suga in GQ, and RM in Paper.

As for BTS’ alleged Vogue cover, Twitter user HOPESTULO was the brain behind it. The cover featured BTS Golden Maknae Jungkook and it offered a sneak peek at his Golden Closet Films.

While the cover is extremely believable, many pointed out how could CNN not notice the line “Rich As Hell And Hot As Hell Too WTF.” Lines like this are way too controversial for the magazine, so it should have been a sign for the network to re-think its authenticity — but it was convinced that the cover was true. Who could blame it, though?

Meanwhile, BTS Map Of The Soul: 7 album cover designer Sparks Edition shared that RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook participated in the creative process and secretly added a special touch to it. ARMYs were right when they said that the number seven in the middle is made up of multiple sevens all layered over each other. There were seven number sevens to be exact and each font was chosen by the BTS boys themselves.
