Bradley Cooper is known to be close friends with Ryan Reynolds and his wife, Blake Lively. They do hang out together and sometimes organize a playdate for their kids. New rumors, however, indicate that Cooper has been also asking his friends to find a new love for him.
The Heat published an article recently with a headline, "Bradley's A-List Matchmakers" referring to Ryan and Blake. The outlet alleged that the A Star Is Born actor is having a hard time lately to find someone to date.
"He's a difficult guy to date due to his prickly personality, which is why he's got Blake and Ryan scouting a list of potential prospects," a source of the tabloid claimed.
Cooper split last year from her long-time partner, Irina Shayk, who is also the mother of her two-year-old daughter, Lea. The actor has been linked with several celebrities since the split including his former co-stars such as Lady Gaga, Ana de Armas, and Renée Zellweger.
The insider alleged that Reynolds and Lively are helping their pal to find a new love but putting up a list of criteria of what they are looking for Cooper's prospective girlfriend. Apparently, the girl should be smart, sexy, has a great sense of humor, and a strong disposition.
Gossip Cop debunked the Heat story after it checked in to a source close to the situation. The insider confirmed that Reynolds and Lively aren't playing matchmaker for the Silver Linings Playbook star.
The publication added that the actor doesn't seem to have time to date at the moment as he is busy with work and raising his daughter. Cooper is currently filming the upcoming Guillermo del Toro movie Nightmare Alley along with Cate Blanchett. The stars have been shooting in Buffalo, New York and in Toronto, Canada.
During a break from shooting, Cooper is seen spending time with his daughter in New York City. Over the weekend, he was spotted teaching Lea how to ride her scooter while Shayk is in Paris for the fashion week.
The rumor that Reynolds and Lively were playing matchmakers to Cooper could have stemmed from the fact that the trio was recently spotted spending time together as they treat their children for a playdate. In January, the couple accompanied their daughters, James, 5, and Inez, 3, to a playdate with Cooper's kid, Lea, at the latter's NYC apartment. The American Sniper actor has relocated to New York permanently so he could spend time with Lea.
