Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, joined her husband Prince Charles at the London Transport Museum on March 4. While, there she got inside an old air raid shelter and joked that she is in self-isolation amid the coronavirus threat.

The royal couple were at the museum to mark the 20th year of Transport for London. The duchess, however, wore gloves during their visit.

Her awkward quip follows Prince William's coronavirus joke during his royal visit to Ireland with Kate Middleton. The Duke of Cambridge said sorry for spreading coronavirus to the crowd who came to see them, as the royal couple shook hands with dozens of people.

At Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth was seen wearing white gloves during an investiture ceremony amid the health threat. Royal staff members, however, said that this was not unusual as the Queen wears gloves most of the time.

Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall rode an electric bus going to the museum from their home in Clarence House. The couple were pictured boarding the red double-decker as a drizzle of rain poured in the streets of London.

Prince Charles and Camilla had police escort as the eco-friendly bus rolled. Accompanying them for this 10-minute trip were the TfL staff and some school children. The bus drove past Pall Mall, Trafalgar Square and Convent Garden.

London Mayour Sadiq Khan greeted Prince Charles and Camilla at the museum. The royal couple also talked to the staff about their workplace conditions, including its environmental and mental health schemes.

After unveiling the plaque to commemorate Transport for London's 20 years, Prince Charles made a short speech to commend them for their operation. The Prince of Wales said the service provided by the agency to the public is "pure genius."

Meanwhile, Prince Charles and Camilla are expected to reunite with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in a couple of days. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been asked by the Queen to join the royal family for the Commonwealth Day service in Westminster Abbey on March 9.

The Sussexes will also be reunited with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton. The last time the Windsors were together was during the crisis talk in Sandringham with Queen Elizabeth, when Prince Harry and Meghan made public their desire to step back from the royal family.
