Some EXO fans continued to send destroyed Chen merchandise to SM Entertainment to show their disappointment with the singer. The angry EXOLs also vowed that they would never buy again any merch that featured the singer on it.

The EXO main vocalist rocked the K-pop world earlier this year after rumors emerged that he is getting married soon and his fiancee is pregnant. Then EXO label, SM Entertainment, confirmed the speculations.

Many EXO-L were shocked by the news but still accepted that Chen is starting his own family. However, not all were pleased with the latest development in the K-pop group.

Chen, later on, issued a statement on the matter. He admitted that he was worried to announce his plan to get married knowing that it might upset some of his fans. SM also released a separate statement stressing that Chen will not be leaving his bandmates and EXO will continue to promote as a group.

This further angered some EXO fans. Some said they feel betrayed by the "Beautiful Goodbye" singer's wedding news.

A number of fans trended hashtags #NO_CHEN and #CHEN_OUT demanding the singer to leave EXO. Some staged a protest in front of the SM building in Seoul. Others posted on social media their destroyed Chen merch while others chose to send it back to SM Entertainment.

"This is the last money I'll spend on Chen," one wrote along with a photo of the package at SM building doorstep. "These are the products of someone who humiliated me. You don't have to handle this package gently," another wrote.

Meanwhile, many EXO-L and non-EXO fans expressed their disappointment with the angry fans' actions. Some said they are genuinely happy that the 27-year-old idol found someone to spend his life with. Others just laughed at what they called fake and delusional EXO-Ls.

"Humiliated you? Girl, you're embarrassing yourself. These people need psychiatric help ASAP! That level of delusion is seriously scary," one commented.

Meanwhile, EXO-Ls are anticipating a repackaged album from the group this month. The "Don't Mess Up My Tempo" hitmakers released their latest studio album, titled Obsession, in November 2019.

However, the members are expected to be more focused on their individual activities as some of them will start with military service soon. Kai earlier teased his upcoming solo album with the release of a practice video for one of the songs in the album. SM also confirmed Suho is preparing for his solo album.
